Intro to Strength Training Session 2
P.I.T. Strength is offering 6th – 7 th grade athletes an introduction to strength training. The course will emphasize proper form and movement (both upper and lower body) while teaching the athletes different lifting exercises for strength and power. This is an in-depth class that challenges the athletes of all skill sets. It is open for kids from all sports, both male and female athletes. Our goal is the introduction of training techniques that make young athletes stronger, quicker and more agile.
Who should attend: Any athlete in grades 6th - 7th
When: Mondays 5:15 – Wednesdays 5:15 Alternate day Sat 9am
Starts: Starts Jan 7th 2018- March 31st 2018
Where: P.I.T. Power & Strength Training Facility at the Sportsplex of Halfmoon
Do I need special Equipment? No…just shirt, shorts and sneakers and a strong desire to work hard.
