P.I.T. Strength ….. Our Philosophy

At P.I.T. Strength you won’t find a group of men and women instructors with countless letters after their name bragging about what we read and were tested on.  Instead you get people who have lived in the real world and developed their approach and teaching patterns from countless hours in the gym using their own bodies a test subjects.  We know what works simply because….we’ve tried it out on ourselves!  We will never ask you to do something we haven’t done ourselves.

Our core principle in helping people transform their bodies and mind is based on resistive force weight training.

Resistance training is based on the principle that muscles of the body will work to overcome a resistance force when required to do so. Whys is this good…. because the outcome is….. Improved muscle strength and tone, healthy weight, increased bone density and strength.  How is this achieved?…..By applying more resistance to the muscles than they normally encounter…..this is accomplished by training with weights.

Why is our model successful….Because we don’t use a pre-scripted workout program that you mindlessly work through.  We personally work you out, each workout is designed for you, based on your current health, past workouts, frequency and progress.  You’re never on your own…we are with you every workout, teaching you the right form (safety first!) and educating you on why and how each exercise will help you.
